So I'm working on animating my last few scenes, but since I've done a lot before I started this blog, I thought I would intersperse some of my older work into some of my posts. Here are some frames from earlier on in the film. This was one of the first scenes where I could really focus on just her facial expressions, and after a few takes I was really pleased with how it came out.
I've still been working on scene 23. Here is a little process video that I made. It was really fun to film myself filming, so I think I'll continue doing so.
What started out as a wolf (a reference to my childhood toy) developed into a lion. He's gone through a few name changes but I settled on "Rarr Rarr." Because Goodnight Molly has no dialogue, I wanted to give him a name that my little girl could mumble out without using real words.
Scene 23 Take 5 came together last night. This scene has been my first attempt at animating in quite some time, so it's taking a little bit of getting used to. Though I think this take is usable for my new edit. One scene done and two more to go! Studios, look out! I'm almost ready to send this off!
So I'm back to work, but I thought I would throw something up in the mean time. Today's job is to work on filling in missing scenes. But until then, here is the last thing I was working on: a flashlight test.
